DHL Express push measures to enhance service capabilities

DHL Express recently announced the launch of measures to substantially enhance its intercontinental and intra-Asian service capabilities. DHL enhanced services will be launched at the end of April this year.

DHL's new service initiatives this time include: opening direct routes between Japan and the United States Cincinnati (DHL Express Americas Freight Hub); enhancing the frequency of transportation of wide-body freighters from Japan to Australia, from two days a week to four days a week; A wide-body freighter was added to connect Incheon (South Korea) and Nagoya (Japan) to enhance express transportation links in the region.

DHL will increase investment in Gabon, increase outlets and strengthen employee training

Gabon’s annual economic growth rate of 6% is an attractive market and a strategic stronghold for DHL in Central Africa. DHL plans to replace two of the three freighters currently used in Gabon by the end of April to increase capacity. At the same time, further increase the outlets, so that the distribution network can reach the urban and rural junction and rural areas. In terms of personnel training, DHL currently has a total of 110 employees in Gabon, including 106 locals. DHL will increase training for employees and improve their work.
