For international express of dangerous goods, as of January 1, 2017, mobile power must be classified as separately mailed lithium-ion batteries and, where applicable, as UN 3480 lithium-ion batteries or un 3090 lithium-metal batteries, respectively, and the shipment shall be prepared in accordance with the IATA lithium battery guidance document 2017 published by the international air transport Association (IATA).

"Mobile power supply" refers to a portable device containing one or more lithium batteries (usually equipped with a working circuit protection circuit board). They are used to charge consumer electronic devices such as mobile phones and tablets.

Therefore, the mobile power supply transported by FedEx is transported as UN 3480 lithium ion battery or un 3090 lithium metal battery of section IA or section IB according to the type of battery used. The mobile power supply driven by lithium metal battery un3090 must be approved by FedEx before transportation.

The following are common types of mobile power supply for reference:

Standard mobile power supply. This type of equipment has a variety of sizes and configurations, which can be customized according to the needs of users and equipment. They usually have small or micro USB ports for charging and full-size USB ports for power release.

Solar charging mobile power. The power supply has a photovoltaic panel that can charge the internal battery in trickle mode when placed in the sun.

Battery case. Although this kind of older equipment has its convenience, it has poor compatibility with the equipment.
