Chemical Export Freight Forwarding Company Briefly Describes Five Elements of Risk Selection

When insuring, you always want to find a balance between insurance coverage and insurance premiums. To do this, we must first assess the risks we face, identify which risks are the most likely and most likely to occur, and weigh them by combining insurance rates for different types of insurance.

Multi-investment insurance will certainly have a stronger sense of security, but the premium expenditure must also increase. Gao Shuhua, Chief of the Cargo Insurance Division of Guangdong PICC Property Insurance Company, has been handling international cargo insurance for many years. He believes that when exporters apply for insurance, they should generally consider the following factors:

1. The type, nature and characteristics of the goods;

2. The packaging of the goods;

3. The transportation of goods (including transportation methods, transportation tools, transportation routes);

4. The loss that occurred in the port and the loading and unloading process, etc.;

5. The political situation at the destination, such as during the NATO airstrike on the Yugoslavia in 1998 and the coup in Pakistan in 1999, if the war risk was insured, the exporter would not have to panic about the safety of the goods.

GG quot;It is very important to comprehensively consider the various conditions of the goods shipped, so that it can not only save premiums, but also improve the degree of risk protection more comprehensively." said Mr. Liu. He is the manager of the business department of Guilin Lingui Light Industry Craft Import and Export Company. According to him, he has worked in export business for many years, and their export goods have never had any problems during transportation, nor have they lost money. He believes that the more important reason is that when dealing with the insurance business, more consideration and comprehensive. He emphasized:&"Export business is generally marginally profitable, but the possibility of risk is increasing, so it should be carefully weighed when applying for insurance."

Transportation considerations:

1. Treat consignments and declarations of dangerous goods in a practical and realistic manner. Do not fail to report, omit, misreport, or report falsely.

2. The procedures and packing of dangerous goods should be handled in strict accordance with the relevant regulations of the port.

3. Ships loaded with dangerous goods must meet certain conditions, especially ships loaded with all dangerous goods must have the inspection certificate of the ship supervision department. For highly dangerous goods, it refers to the consignment of CLAS1, CLAS2, CLAS3.1, CLAS5.2, and CLASSS7. It should be understood in advance whether the ship is suitable for transportation, so as not to cause the ship to retreat after the ship is dispatched and delay the shipment period.

4. Pay attention to the special regulations of the transshipment port.

Precautions for customs declaration:

1. Before exporting the dangerous goods, provide the freight forwarder with the dangerous goods instructions (the dangerous goods instructions must include Chinese and English product names, dangerous goods grades, dangerous pages, and UN numbers). The freight forwarder will ask the customs if the port accepts such dangerous goods.

2. If the port receives such dangerous goods, it can proceed to arrange bookings.

3. Before booking, our company must fill out an entry and exit inspection and quarantine inspection unit registration application form and packaging identification application form, if the company has registered at the port entry and exit inspection and quarantine bureau, it is not necessary to fill out the entry and exit inspection and quarantine report Unit registration application form, but we need to affix our official seal on the packaging appraisal application form, and submit two documents to the factory. The factory shall apply to the local Commodity Inspection Bureau to handle the packaging appraisal of dangerous goods exported by sea.

4. When booking, in addition to the normal documents, the following documents must also be provided: Dangerous Goods Instructions in English and Chinese (copy), maritime export dangerous goods packaging container use appraisal result sheet, maritime export dangerous goods packaging container performance appraisal result sheet ( Carton packaging) Note: Sometimes it is necessary to provide proof of packing.

5. If booking different types of dangerous goods when booking, the booking of dangerous goods must be carried out separately according to different types of dangerous characteristics, so that the ship according to the dangerous goods of different characteristics in accordance with the "International Maritime Dangerous Regulations" Isolation requires stacking meteoric transportation separately for safety.
