EMS has an efficient and developed mail processing center. There are more than 200 processing centers nationwide, among which the processing centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou reach 30,000 square meters, more than 20,000 square meters and 37,000 square meters respectively. At the same time, each processing center is equipped with advanced automatic sorting equipment. The large-scale, advanced technology and equipment China Post Air Express Logistics Distribution Center in Asia will also be completed and put into use in Nanjing in 2008.

EMS also has excellent information processing capabilities. An information processing platform centered on more than 300 cities in China has been established, which is linked to the Universal Postal Union (UPU) inquiry system, which can realize global tracking and inquiry of EMS mail.
