Responsibility for filling out air waybill

The shipper is responsible for filling out the air waybill. The shipper is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the contents of the freight bill. Due to the inaccurate and incomplete contents of the freight bill, the carrier or others suffer losses, and the shipper is liable. According to Article 113 and Article 114 of the Civil Aviation Law of the People's Republic of China, the shipper shall fill out the original air waybill in triplicate and deliver it to the carrier together with the cargo. The non-compliance of the air waybill or the loss of the air waybill does not affect the existence or validity of the contract of carriage.
